SPIRIT CONSCIOUSNESS AND SACRED TEXTS

In having studied sacred texts all my life, always meditating on the teachings and throughout life's experiences, the notion is wide-spread that all existence consists of spirit and flesh. These are heaven and earth or anti-matter and matter. The Messiah, Jesus is quoted "Man cannot serve both God and mammon (riches)."

The two forces at work are equal and opposite. The Damascus document refers to 'The Spirit of Truth' and 'The Spirit of Falsehood'. Delving deeper into this concept there are two seeds amongst humanity: 'The seed of the son of man' and 'The seed of the serpent'. There are also two realities; tree of knowledge of good and evil reality; tree of life reality. That we are of one seed or the other depending mainly on self.

From 'primordial ooze' to god-like beings. The noble walk and obeying the law, of no harm and good will, is the must to overcome the death / rebirth cycle and gain ransom to eternal life. This 'good will' is also the benefactor in eventually casting out suffering (death) for all beings in returning to dream-time or nirvana, a realm without suffering. Spirituality and consideration towards other beings is the important attribute in release from the re-birth cycle (samsara) and in overcoming death, attaining Moksha as evolving consciousness conquers nature.

The story of creation and the theory of evolution are in agreement. In different detail they are saying the same thing. In relation to the big bang theory; a collision, the opening of the Bible states, "In the beginning God..."this may imply infinity "... created the heaven and the earth." Right there we have what is regarded as a coincidence, it could mean the same implication. We have the two opposites, perhaps - shall I say, "the unstoppable force and the immovable object." Here the explosion entails outward. The Bible goes on to say, "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." - Genesis 1:2. Derived from this are the four curses of the Torah; Blindness, Stoning, killed with the sword and strangulation or drowning; also the four elements; fire, earth, air, and water. The next three verses signify the after effects; indicating the in total the seven essential aspects of the cosmos, the first day of creation. The following passages are in sequence pertaining to parallels of creationism and evolution.

Science supports that all creation is either matter or anti-matter, belonging to heaven or earth; which are equal and opposite and never consolidated except in a dream state. Reality changes with perspective depending on time and space yet is ever the same. Just as a certain person is viewed at a particular angle or at an alternate time yet is unchanged. Culture, background and creed are aspects of time and space and offer a different on-look. The ideology that a particular set of religious beliefs be an only way cannot be a universal truth. We all have a way set before us, in a sense we are all masters of our own destiny. Significance does not measure a person as we all give our all to attain oneness with being.

So perspective gives a different point of view also in regards to view point is character and perception. Rather than looking onward this relates to outlook coming from within. Each person must decide for themselves with regards to decisions mastering a way of a persons choosing. According to Buddhist classical literature constituents 'I' or 'self' involve five interrelated aggregates: Consciousness or awareness, Form (physical body and senses), Feeling, Discrimination and Motivational tendencies. We all have an on look and an outlook to reality each person masters their own. There is a way of choosing and a path for us all.

Having examined viewpoints and variations, let us take a look at the constant factor. Perception and perspective develop concept; the entity remains fixed being the source. Our point of view does not change the actuality as it is fixed. Also, although a limited understanding does not fully comprehend, Infinity and absolute does exist. There will always be limitations, these boundaries are fixed, giving law. Every thought, word or deed is not without consequence. Events and interactions pave our way, though destination requires a direction, referring then to the way and is unchangeable; remains the same. An unchangeable way results in only one outcome. If progress or rebirth be the only possibility we have only development. As concepts tally we understand, eventually gaining mastery. Getting only closer to the ideal or source. All attain oneness with the source at the individual level, the source being the absolute.

In attaining oneness with the source we are never the source itself. Just as a hyperbolic curve ever approaches the straight line and never meets it yet both are continual, this is the way for all. In addition to the concept creation be made of heaven and earth or matter and it's anti, this in agreement with sciences' evolution; an awakening of consciousness is developing within the matter (out of the pit), going further as consciousness develops and intellect deepens (through the miry clay), Fair to say if awareness has come to be within primordial ooze and there is a hereafter; it is supported that consciousness exists as an invisible heavenly body (upon the rock). And the objective of a spiritualist be the cessation of suffering in overcoming death, then evolution of consciousness should conquer nature, albeit in a waisteland; in ever approaching perfection and standing firm in righteousness, which in fact is impossible though, without the source itself (established my goings).

The notion that evolution conquers nature and they be at one; moreover the objective of life being the overcoming of death, attaining afterlife and cessation of suffering is prominent throughout sacred texts. The Buddhist dharma on cessation of suffering. The Islamic way to attain the next world and the last day. The promise of eternal life to believers in the Bible. The very idea of the existence of angels and gods in mythology. This theme is so prevalent the whole intention of the scriptures and the prophets who wrote them be based upon it. The scriptures indicate this "Cessation of suffering" is attainable through unselfish living, a noble path of being considerate of others. A life of giving rather than taking and not causing harm. Creating good karma in payment of karmic debt in release from the death cycle. Granting the consciousness continuity and passage through sheol to afterlife. 'Unselfish living' is backed by the giving of the law. Truth was sent through the prophets; law given to humankind to guide and protect. An origin of the law, 'The Torah' is the opening of the Bible and the first accepted sacred text for Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The sacred texts were inspiration of prophets through the ages. The spirit of prophecy is in the witnessing of truth.

The law is based on goodwill. In a nutshell doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. Rather than exalting yourself it requires humility. This selflessness or better put, unselfishness has its drawbacks. In learning to make right decisions and carry them out despite the misgivings, suffering is cast out for one and all. The Bible explains death came into being through misuse of free will. It is cast out through repentance of shortcomings and a more directed life in regards to decision making, action and belief in attainment of nirvana. Death is the ultimate chaos. Nirvana is the tallest order. Abiding by law and in being selfless we learn of the spiritual. The scriptures indicate that this prepares the soul for trial after death in sheol in entrance to afterlife. Spiritual living is what is necessary to reduce suffering in the world and eventually live at one.

Assessing The Bible with conception free-will was misused and as a result death exists; that making the right choices and surrendering ones will to spiritual forces ascension is achieved in ever growing awareness. Looking at the Buddha's four noble truths and eight-fold path of righteous living concerned with cessation of suffering. It is correct use of free-will and righteousness that defeats death. Existence being made up of matter and anti-matter then through the spiritual awakening of consciousness within the flesh and then attainment of heavenly body and afterlife. Correct choice and righteousness be acts of the spirit. It is by the spirit that death be beaten and the two become consolidated.

In regards to the universe beginning from a collision or a 'Big Bang' between anti-matter and matter being the heaven and the earth respectively; anti-matter the invisible spirit by which death is conquered, matter the visible flesh being impermanent of which yields to death. If afterlife in the heavens occurs as scriptures imply; invisible body or ghost-like consciousness must exist. For the invisible to sustain it needs the visible, both being a necessity. The state of being without death; matter and anti-matter are one. Existence would then consist of both visible and invisible between the perishable and the imperishable; substance of visions or awake in a dream - Nirvana.

In addition to this explanation, of ghost-like consciousness it was believed in the 1960's along with; bending of spoons, astral projection, telekinesis and concepts of the supernatural and psychic ability, that the mind is not in fact the brain. The mind or 'psyche' was said to be invisible, in the shape of a disk, around the size of a twenty cent piece, sitting above the brain at the crown and was the center of consciousness itself; a vehicle of spiritual cognitive function and awareness.

In examining the story of creation in fitting evolution we have; "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." - Genesis 1:1 Please note that God is The Source and God is One. Evolution explains this universe had its beginning from an explosion quite possibly a collision between matter (visible) and anti-matter (invisible). This shows the concept of a fall from God's perfection of everything in order and one, being without death to a split of visible and invisible, as it were between the two (substance of vision) and a falling apart into a lifeless chaos and a needing to return to one.

Let's say, in the beginning we have the chaos, void and expanse of 'darkness'. The goal then being an ordering a filling up and making whole (one) of life (form of light). Consciousness being the vehicle of transcendence. The light does not repel the darkness but replaces it until they are one. With chaos being a beginning of lifeless matter and oneness the objective of highest order and consciousness the go between, life must exist in both the visible and invisible. It would be feasible to ascertain that consciousness develops through a birth in the fleshly (visible and impermanent earthly body) to an afterlife in the spirit (invisible and permanent heavenly body) in a realm of anti-matter or on the other side as text indicates and evolution explains. In overcoming the rebirth cycle we attain heavenly body, not dismissing reincarnation and retaining memory as we become more evolved. Throughout the death rebirth cycle we grow closer to perfection; having entered nirvana we need not return to the former. Symbolically speaking in overcoming death; eternal life is a shooting off on a tangent from the cycle of rebirth in ever approaching perfection, like a hyperbolic curve ever approaching the linear.

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.
